Dear Pymollers,

I am trying to display a cross-section of an active site pocket with a
ligand bound in the active site. For the figure I would like to Z-clip the
active site residues (viewed as a surface representation), but not the
ligand. To accomplish this I would assume that I need to create two
different objects and Z-clip only one of them. The problem is this: if I
create and display both objects and then execute a Z-clip both of the
objects get clipped. If I create one object, call for a Z-clip, then create
the second object, the Z-clip is over-ridden and both full structures
(without any Z-clipping) are displayed.

Any suggestions on how I can get selective Z-clipping

Thanks,

Kelley
