Hello, I was surprised to see no reactions, so I dared to speak :) In my opinion, it would be very useful, I often don't trust gmane or other archives that they have all the contents of the mailing list - when searching for problems and solutions, before posting any question. I can't think of any specific features though, perhaps an option to search pylucene alongside with lucene, and a tokenizer that handles code snippets but assigns higher boost to the text around, not the code.
