Oh it does work fine provided you tell the linker the correct place to pickup the framework from.
I have three or four python installs on my system and it works fine.

How does python handle such coexistence on other platforms (Linux,
FreeBSD, Solaris, etc., I guess, since MSFT doesn't pre-install python)?
