tl;dr: If you follow or tweet at @TryPyramid, consider doing so
via @PylonsProject instead.
As part of ongoing efforts to clarify the brand and identity of
the Pylons Project and its projects, including Pyramid, a couple
of changes have been made regarding Twitter accounts.
* @Pylons has been renamed to @PylonsProject.
* All data associated with @Pylons (followers, tweets, etc.) is
now associated with @PylonsProject.
* @TryPyramid will remain active solely for archival purposes.
No further activity is anticipated.
The reasons include:
* About two-thirds of @TryPyramid followers also follow @Pylons.
* Roughly 90% of content from either account duplicates the other.
* There are about three times more followers of @Pylons than @TryPyramid.
* @Pylons is ambiguous, lacking a qualifier of whether it is the
Pylons Project or Pylons the web framework.
* @PylonsProject is about as self-descriptive as it can get.
