I use the exact same combination, and I fully concur :)
The only thing you want to avoid is the `deform_bootstrap` package, which was never ported to Bootstrap 3: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/deform_bootstrap

Kotti always uses the latest versions of all upstream packages, for that matter: Bootstrap 3.3.4, deform 2.0a2 and colander 1.0. This combination performs flawlessly out of the box for all the widgets Kotti uses.
