I'm working on utility library with reasonable defaults for pyramid: https://github.com/jnosal/seth Although it's not designed to be super extensible I believe it gathers couple of nice patterns and helpers. It still lacks documentation, but I think test are self explanatory. It's available on pypi but it's still work in progress. I plan to finish it by the end of april. Please take a look and let me know what You think of it.
