Yeah, it's because the cookievalue is signed:

IIRC, the easiest ways would be something like
* an admin page that accepts a signed cookie, deserializes it, and looks up
the value (displaying it)
* an admin page that lists the signed cookies, along with their "session_id"
* a script that does the above
