If anyone is interested (and it may not be the best or most pythonistic code just as an FYI) i've uploaded to PyPi a small prototype I am toying with here and there.
The goal is to build out a component-based CMS using Pyramid and MongoDB.... I know there was a lot of stuff I wrestled with when getting started so maybe this can help someone else (or any pointers would be appreciated too)...
