Regarding names: A good name is unique enough that blog posts and discussion on
it can be found easily. Searching for "python glue" is going to return a pretty
useless set of results, whereas karnak (or something similarly unique) would be
much better.
Otherwise all the brainstorming is sounding great. I've been fine with INI
config files until now, but YAML sure sounds nicer.
