Thank you, Marc-Andre. I looked at Kivy early today and it seems to be for fully python apps on Android instead of integration with Android kotlin/java code.
I still exploring possibilities of chaquopy <https://github.com/chaquo/chaquopy>, so far it looks the most promising one.
