Dear Python Wiki administrators,

I'm a mathematician at UC Santa Cruz, and I've just written a series of
Python tutorials oriented towards beginners who are pursuing number
theory. These are free, under a GPLv3 license. While they are associated
with my recent book, "An Illustrated Theory of Numbers", the book is not
necessary for the tutorials, and I hope they are a good resource for the
Python community.

I understand that you are not allowing public edits of the Wiki, but I
would like to place a link beneath the "Scientific Audiences" section of
https://wiki.python.org/moin/BeginnersGuide/NonProgrammers to my
programming tutorials. These are available at
http://illustratedtheoryofnumbers.com/prog.html or directly on GitHub at
https://github.com/MartyWeissman/Python-for-number-theory. Please let me
know if such links are appropriate, and provide editing access or add them
directly if possible.

Sincerely,

Marty Weissman
Associate Professor of Mathematics
University of California, Santa Cruz
