Berker Peksag has been working on a patch to replace Chef for the Vagrant setup on pythondorg (the config that is used for running a local instance of the site) with Ansible.
Here's the patch: https://github.com/python/pythondotorg/compare/master...berkerpeksag:switch-to-ansible I'm very much in favor of this, since I find Chef to be far to complex for a simple thing as a Vagrant VM. It would hopefully make it easier to get new developers interested in helping with the pythondotorg code base. Anyone against this ?
