*Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Representation for Cultural Heritage and Tourism Enhancement* This Special Issue explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Knowledge Representation technologies in cultural heritage and tourism. It seeks contributions on AI-driven methods—such as machine learning, natural language processing, semantic web technologies, and knowledge graphs—to enhance heritage preservation, create immersive tourist experiences, and promote sustainable tourism. The issue welcomes research on AI-powered solutions for the tourism industry, including personalised tour planning, sentiment analysis, and operational optimisation. The overarching goal is to highlight how AI and knowledge representation can drive innovation, enhance engagement, and unlock new economic opportunities in the sector. *Key topics include (but are not limited to) the following*: - Digital Preservation and Curation; - Three-Dimensional Reconstruction, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality; - Automatic Classification and Annotation; - Storytelling and Narrative Generation; - Smart Tour Planning Systems; - Automated Tourist Feedback Analysis; - Chatbots and Virtual Assistants; - Tourism Logistics Optimisation; - Geospatial Data Analysis for Recommendation Engines; - Predictive Analytics for Tourism; - AI for Sustainable Tourism; - Applications in Cultural Heritage and Tourism. We invite researchers from diverse fields to submit original research articles and review papers that advance our understanding of AI’s role in transforming both cultural heritage and the tourism sector. ***MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION INFORMATION*** *The deadline for manuscript submissions is 31 October 2025.* Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
