UNESCO has proclaimed January 14th as World Logic Day, a global day
dedicated to supporting the development of logic through teaching, research,
and public dissemination of the discipline. To this end, many events are
happening around the world. See https://wld.cipsh.international/wld2025.html
for an overview.

The coordination of World Logic Day 2025 is - for the fifth time - in the
hands of the Conseil International de Philosophie et des Sciences Humaines
(CIPSH) and its member organization, the Division for Logic, Methodology and
Philosophy of Science and Technology of the International Union of History
and Philosophy of Science and Technology (DLMPST/IUHPST):

Let's also start thinking about the celebrations in 2026! We invite you to
organize a workshop, talk, or other event celebrating the next World Logic
Day - January 14, 2026. Let's make it a vibrant and inclusive celebration.
World Logic Day is what we make of it. You can register your event to be
part of the official list of events!

Additionally there will be a
WORLD LOGIC DAY GRAPHIC DESIGN CHALLENGE To celebrate World Logic Day 2026
(again on January 14)

Logic, traditionally seen as the domain of pure thought and reason, is
notoriously difficult to visualise.
Finding ways to express the most fundamental laws that govern the human
process of reasoning without words and in pictures is a true challenge: we
should love to see your attempts to overcome it.

The theme of World Logic Day 2026 will be "Logic & Diversity" and we would
be particularly happy with submissions that focus on aspects that fit with
the theme, e.g., the question of whether there is one true logic or several,
the question whether logical systems can be in conflict with each other,
etc.
We encourages creative interpretations, reflecting on how logic interacts
with the rich tapestry of diverse cultures, perspectives, and ideas.

In order to participate in your WLD Graphic Design Challenge, please submit
a one-page A4 file with a visualisation of logic or a particular logical
phenomenon that works with as few words as possible by June 30, 2025.
You may accompany your graphic design with a brief verbal description of
your design (at most 200 words).

Your graphic designs will play a role at World Logic Day 2026 on 14 January
2026:
We expect to include selected submission on the WLD website, organise an
exhibition of selected submissions, and invite the winner of the WLD Graphic
Design Challenge to a workshop in Europe (pending funding).
