Hello,
Here is <https://github.com/mxmvoronov/pve-spice-client> a simple PVE client
for Linux based on Qt5. At the moment it allows to launch remote viewer and store
last user settings.
nice!
A small "error" i noticed, in the "Installation" description there should be:
$ cmake ../
../pve-spice-client does not exists at this level.
Screenshots are available at this link
<https://github.com/mxmvoronov/pve-spice-client/wiki/Screenshots>.
How about expanding and adding it to the PVE project ? Suggestions are welcome.
ad (active directory) misses in domainTypeFromString, just noticed as I had one
configured.
This could be a bit expanded to show in the list what VMs are already running.
Maybe even an overview where you can start/stop VMs?
Maybe keep the window open (in the background) so that another spice session
can be started once the current is closed.
just a few ideas from top of my head, did not really think them through :)
cheers,
Thomas
Thanks for the reply!
Missed active directory realm looks like serious bug - will fix it as
soon as possible.
Keeping application alive after successfully start of remote viewer is a
good idea, will add it to the todo-list ;-)
