git ask for the charset on such patches with non-ascii chars. The questions goes circa: > What encoding do you want [UTF-8]: Now the right thing to do is just pressing enter, but people are used to confirm defaults with yes/no (y/n) and enter 'y' here, which git happily passes along as the wished encoding... I changed that manually to UTF-8 and 3-way merged your patch on the updated language .po files, i'll test a bit around if my merged was correct and will then push it.
