yes maybe. BTW, I just wondering if we need a distributed router for public network. After all, if we don't do s-nat, nat 1:1, why not just configure the gateway of the vm to use the external router directly ? (and layer2 still occur in the same vmbr public network) distributed router make sense for east-west traffic, between different private networks. ----- Mail original ----- De: "dietmar" <diet...@proxmox.com> À: "aderumier" <aderum...@odiso.com> Cc: "pve-devel" <pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com> Envoyé: Vendredi 26 Janvier 2018 16:59:51 Objet: Re: [pve-devel] proxmox 2018 : add support for "virtual" network and network plugins ? > On January 26, 2018 at 2:26 PM Alexandre DERUMIER <aderum...@odiso.com> > wrote: > > > >>What is wrong using proxy-arp? > > each vmbr which have the gateway, have the same ip AND mac address. The idea is to use a link local IP, and do not expose that IP to the router at all.
