Why don't you try to use btrfs instead?
btrfs is not stable and is not recommended for use in production. AFAIK
btrfs is not even feature complete yet.
and it's horrible unstable... i was running into 4 bugs (using 3.8 and
3.9 kernel) while testing it for just 2 weeks.
