The latest patch release for the current Long Term Support (LTS) release of
Puppet Enterprise, PE 2019.8.3, is now available!

This is a backward-compatible release that contains new features,
enhancements, and bug fixes, including:

   -

A console Value report builds on the value API, gathering real-time data
and calculating time freed by using PE.
   -

Improvements to plans, including scheduling, sensitive parameter
support, and the ability to re-run tasks or jobs on failed nodes.
   -

Improvements to patching, including smarter handling for Windows driver
   updates.

Note: This release also deprecates whitelist and blacklist in favor of
allowlist and blocklist. Classes, parameters, and file names that use these
terms continue to work, but we recommend updating your classification,
Hiera data, and pe.conf files as soon as possible in preparation for their
removal in a future release.
