Hi all We're pleased to announce a new Puppet module <https://forge.puppet.com/puppetlabs/amazon_aws> for managing your Amazon AWS infrastructure. The module is auto-generated from the API that Amazon AWS exposes for creating and managing its infrastructure as a service. Auto-generating the content from the AWS API increases the breadth of AWS resources that can be managed with Puppet code and will allow us to more frequently update the module to keep pace with updates to the AWS API. The module is currently unsupported and this early release is an opportunity for us to gather feedback from the community, prior to making it supported.
For instructions on how to use the module check out the ReadMe <https://forge.puppet.com/puppetlabs/amazon_aws/readme>. To help you get up and running we recommend that you follow the examples. You will find sample manifests to help you create: EC2 virtual machines and subnets for virtual machines. There are also a number of sample tasks which use Puppet Bolt <https://puppet.com/products/puppet-bolt> allowing you to manage: Amazon VPCs, EKS clusters, AWS storage gateways, S3 buckets and much more. We'd love to get your feedback on the module and its capabilities - please use GitHub issues <https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-amazon_aws/issues> to track any issues that you face.
