This is a security and bugfix release of Puppet Enterprise. All users of Puppet Enterprise 2016.x are encouraged to upgrade when possible to Puppet Enterprise 2016.4.2. Puppet Enterprise 2016.4.2 includes fixes to fix bugs and provide security improvements. For information on the updates in this release, see https://docs.puppet.com/pe/latest/index.html#release-notes As a current Puppet Enterprise user, you can upgrade to this new version as part of your annual subscription.
