We're releasing puppetlabs-apt 2.0.0 this week, which includes a nearly full rewrite of the module, and a bunch of breaking changes. The (almost fully) updated code is available at https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-apt/tree/2.0.x, but there are still a couple of pending pull requests. Also, while unattended-upgrades has been removed from the puppetlabs-apt module, it will be published as a separate module under the puppet-community namespace before the 2.0.0 version of the apt module is published.
Once 2.0.0 is released these changes will be merged back into master, so deployments from git master will break. The preview of the CHANGELOG is available here <https://github.com/mhaskel/puppetlabs-apt/blob/2.0.0-prep/CHANGELOG.md#2015-04-07---supported-release-200>, and please also carefully review the updated README and examples before starting to migrate to this new version. -- Morgan Haskel mor...@puppetlabs.com Module Engineer *PuppetConf 2015 <http://2015.puppetconf.com/> is coming to Portland, Oregon!
