Wow, that issue is *old* :-) Hasn't been migrated to Jira, either.
According to Redmine, moving to Passenger has helped at least one user,
apparently.

This is probably the Webrick threading issues that were fixed for 3.6.2
- IIRC that could cause truncated catalogs.
