Subject to a few caveats regarding Yum repo configurations, it should be sufficient to put the appropriate rpm(s) in *any* repo that your nodes are configured to use. It would be best, however, to put them in the same repo from which the original packages came, if that's possible. If the agent packages originally came from the master's self-hosted repo, then you might not need to update any packages. In that case you might need to ensure that your agents have that repo configured and enabled, however. On the other hand, if your agents were not originally installed from packages (idk whether that's likely with PE) then the upgrade technique you are asking about does not apply to you.
