Hi, We're looking for a skilled Puppet developer for a 6 month contract. We use a mixture of custom modules/facts and modules from forge/github, mainly LAMP stack stuff and a few things specific to our infrastructure. Most of our focus is on RHEL/CentOS, with a bit of Ubuntu, CloudStack, ESXi 5.1/XenServer 6.1. We use librarian in a multi-master geographically distributed setup. We're using PE 2.8.2 with Hiera and a modified role/profile sort of paradigm. We write specs and automate them w/ Jenkins. We track issues with JIRA. We're testing now with PE 3. We've got a varied development and QA environment using a blend of Vagrant, VMware, and physical servers. We will be delving into puppetizing some Cisco and Force10 switches as well.
We need someone who can help close the gaps for some edge cases and implement feature requests on the existing modules.
