I'm a complete newbie to Puppet, so I'm hoping somebody can help me with some basic validation of my key requirement. I have a web app that includes Tomcat based Java web apps with a SQL-Server database backend. I’m looking for a cloud deployment/config management tool that allows me to build deployment scripts that will work against either internal vmWare ESX virtual machine or external AWS targets. Can Puppet handle this?
