Position Overview Due to significant growth, we have a challenging opportunity available for an Operations Engineer to evolve our existing automated infrastructure to support the expanded needs of our customers. In this role you will partner with the Engineering and QA teams to ensure that products can be deployed quickly and easily, the technical infrastructure is monitored and self-managing, and that clear recovery and business continuity plans are in effect. What You Will Do * Manage the existing Amazon EC2-hosted staging and production environments * Evolve the existing puppet-managed infrastructure to support extended growth and reliability requirements * Lead initiatives to improve the stability and scalability of the production environment * Review and integrate Amazon EC2 infrastructure product offerings as appropriate * Manage deployments of software and configurations * Script development to monitor performance of all deployed applications and tune environment to ensure maximum performance * Perform capacity and systems planning for all deployed applications * Share 24 x 7 on-call duties and after-hours responsibilities as required or defined
