Thanks for the reply. That is perhaps an interim solution, albeit not elegant and not within the motivations and spirit of the puppet goals.
How about a feature request to manage class/module parameters like this directly in the Dashboard within the Class configuration? Or in the module definition (manifests/init.pp) as configurable directive ($stage = "pre")?
