I make user of the puppet fileserving capability to serve up configs and smaller executables I need on my deployed servers.
Sometimes I populate directories to be served on the puppetmaster via subversion. When I recursively populate this kind of directory via puppet, it brings over the .svn directory, etc, which is not what I want.
