Rare Puppet Master Developer training (only held 1-2 times a year) October 11-13 (9 AM - 4 AM everyday) San Francisco, CA (Downtown area) http://www.puppetlabs.com/events/bay-area-developer-training/ Topics covered include: * Day 1: Introduction to Ruby * Day 2: Extending puppet o Overview of API that can be used to extend Puppet o Custom facts o Custom functions o Custom reporting o External node classifiers * Day 3: Writing custom types and providers in Ruby Sessions will mix theory and practice, balancing lectures with hands-on exercises.
