Yes, I meant to say it *would* be nice to be able to "scale it down", as I mentioned in some other thread pure Ruby doesn't seem the best suited for this. Then again, it might be that the use case is a bit different, on a lot of small devices space, memory and processing power constraints make it hard to install additional software and especially daemons. Sometimes it's easier to just operate on those devices via SSH channel with available OS tools.
