hey group!

i'm just getting into puppet and I'd like to ask a newb question - i
can't find an answer elsewhere.

i'm using a little used distro called Crux linux (www.crux.nu) because
it's nice and simple. crux uses a package manager similar to Sun's
pkgadd - but it's not exactly the same.

how hard would it be to write my own package provider class to wrap
around this package manager?

any tips or pointers on where to find some background information on
doing this? an example maybe?

i took a look at a provider for apt. i might be able to hack my way
around it, but i was hoping for something a little more detailed (i.e.
useable by a newb).

suggestions?

thanks!
