Unfortunately the version doesn't carry the git sha ID and since gem
doesn't support rc versions, it is really difficult to say if you are
indeed running a vanilla 0.25.1 or something close that would report
0.25.1.

But if you reinstalled the master, did you restart it? Maybe you're
still running the 0.25.1rc2 version, even though the ruby files on disk
have changed?
