I realize I'm a little late to the party here, but I saw this post while searching for information about using Puppet on Ubuntu and thought I'd go ahead and respond just in case anyone else comes across this post and has the same question. On Ubuntu the equivalent of the / etc/sysconfig/ folder which is found on many RedHat-based distros is actually found at /etc/defaults/ as far as I can tell. At least on the Ubuntu system I'm using at the moment, there is configuration files for Puppet in this folder which appear extremely similar to the files found in /etc/sysconfig/ on my Mandriva system. I hope that information helps someone. :) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
