So Jeff McCune and I got that patch into pound upstream, but found that it was logging lots of spurious errors. This was not the case with our submitted patch, so they changed something when they chose to implement this feature. I spent a while chasing this up with the pound developers on their mailing list, and they showed no interest in actually fixing it.
