Hi,

I'm a fairly new to Puppet but so far have been very pleased with the
recipes and my own simple scripts. However, I've hit a wall in the
form of OSSEC, (http://www.ossec.net/main/)

Most of my servers are running ubuntu or debain and neither support
OSSEC via apt-get. I've thought about setting up my own local
repository to handle this and to also package my own puppet updates.
However the recommend install of OSSEC is via an interactive shell. As
I'm new to Puppet and not that strong with shell scripting/package
management this route is getting a little complex for my tastes. This
is further complicated by having the agent adding process in OSSEC is
interactive.

I'm not interested in having Puppet mange the server configuration for
the OSSEC master, but I'd like the agent install to be automated.

Is anyone using OSSEC with puppet? Have a recipe? Any recommendations
for getting around it not being in a repository? Recommendations
regarding interactive agent installations?
