Hi all, James Turnbull has enabled a new plugin in Redmine that allows you to vote for tickets. You have to have a login, and you can vote a ticket up or down.
We plan to use this voting to decide which tickets are most important to you, the people who actually use Puppet every day. I expect it'll provide us with two types of information: What areas of Puppet you generally use the most, and what issues are specifically interfering with your ability to get the most out of Puppet. Of course, no one is absolutely promising that the most popular tickets will always get fixed as highest priority, but will always do our best to prioritize the tickets that gets the most votes. It also gives newer developers a good idea of where they should start contributing if they want to make an immediate impact on the product. To vote on a ticket, log in and view any ticket -- you should see the green/red arrows. You can vote once per ticket. To view the votes, view all issues and then just sort by votes. The plugin was just installed, and I believe it's pretty new, so expect some hiccups, but please let us know if you find anything specifically wrong. -- Charm is a way of getting the answer yes without asking a clear question. -- Albert Camus --------------------------------------------------------------------- Luke Kanies | http://reductivelabs.com | http://madstop.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
