>From puppetmaster.log: Tue Sep 30 11:38:35 CDT 2008 Puppet (warning): Discarded unknown configuration parameter :certdnsnames
But from <http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/ ConfigurationReference>: certdnsnames The DNS names on the Server certificate as a colon-separated list. If it's anything other than an empty string, it will be used as an alias in the created certificate. By default, only the server gets an alias set up, and only for 'puppet'. And from my config file: certdnsnames = prcapp00.xxemployerxx.local The misplaced space in the error message confuses things, I think, especially in combination with the option for a colon-separated list for the value. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
