Dear Puppet Developers, I would like to announce that I am bootstrapping a CentOS Configuration Management SIG. A SIG (Special Interest Group) is a group in the CentOS community who focuses on a specific goal.
In this case the goal of the SIG is to get community-build RPM packages of configuration management tools that would be available to anyone. Those packages would get extra testing and would be build and tested on the existing community-driven CentOS Infrastructure. This project is a unique occasion to bring configuration management tools closer to the distributions and working together with the community.
