Commentary

First, apologies for no status e-mail last week. Puppet Labs had a
developer off-site and we all lost track of time :)

Next, lots of people are off for the holidays, so expect things to be on
the quiet side on puppet-dev@ and #puppet-dev until January. And expect
status reports to be on the slim side also.

Puppet Server:

Puppet Server 1.0 is released:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/puppet-users/Gtg2FL3kxVc/85EOnhTfIzwJ

Please try it out!

Puppet:

Continuing to crank away on Puppet 4, now targeting early February.
Remaining tickets are here
<https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/issues/?filter=12940>.

We’re working hard on the AIO packages, but they probably won’t land for
tire-kicking until January. Hang tight and we will of course keep this list
posted.

Other puppet-dev conversations of note:

   -

code structure for caching (e.g.) /proc/mounts for duration of a catalog
run (thanks Michael, Trevor and special guest Andy P)
