Week of March 3rd, 2014 ** Next PR Triage Wednesday, March 12th @ 10:00 am Pacific. **
*Priorities* Planning PE 3.2 Puppet 3.5.0 Facter 2.0.1 Windows ACLs Azure Demo support *Commentary* We had our remote team members in Portland, which was a real treat, and allowed us to do some planning. For the most notable output, see Andy's terrific writeup on puppet-dev: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/puppet-dev/CQeu1XkcvPY/PdaB2NozRWsJ We had another good PR triage session on the 5th. Some issues are being pushed to 3.6 because: 3.5.0 is sooo close. We lost a little release velocity due to planning time, etc, but look for an rc1 this week. Facter 2.0.1 is out and people are trying it out -- hooray! We found some minor issues, look for an rc2 this week. Rob is nearing completion on the Windows ACLs module. Peter H added the ability to run puppet specs in parallel. We're all excited to get faster spec runs! (Add'l benefit: travis-ci doesn't run out of memory.) *Changes Moving Forward* None -- Kylo Ginsberg [email protected] *Join us at PuppetConf 2014, September 23-24 in San Francisco* -* http://bit.ly/pupconf14 <http://bit.ly/pupconf14>* Register now and save $350! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Developers" group.
