I wonder what in the world then is the issue!

This is crazy! What things do I need to check, and how do I do so? I think my
mistake may have been upgrading from sequoia 15.1 to 15.2.

I misread the compatibility page on the Avid website thinking it said it was
compatible certified with 15.2, but it looks like it's showing only 15.1.

I literally just reinstalled ProTools today after having this issue, so yeah.

I also totally shut off Keyboard Maestro in case something's interfering.

Oddly, when I looked in Keyboard shortcuts, I've not messed with this, but the
command for Shift+R for instance has the far right most collumn, "Focus"
unchecked.

I've tried both with keyboard focus on and off and it made absolutely no
difference.

Aside the compatibility thing, I'm totally striking out, but would love to know
what to try.

Chris.
