Hi, I thought that Avid link was also used to keep both Pro Tools and
plugins updated at their latest versions if you enter in your login
information into the program as I do or is this not true anymore as I am
one of those people who likes to have the latest version installed at

There's no problem, per se, it's just that Avid Link isn't
particularly accessible for now. It doesn't interfere in any way. I'd
just leave it alone and it won't get in your way. Hope that helps,

though. They recommended to deinstall Avid Link, or at least remove
the menu line extension for it in Finder.
