Hi Martin,
If "Wait for Note" is enabled, it doesn't matter what you have selected. That's 
the Pro Tools transport waiting for a MIDI event to occur before rolling. 
Whether you have a MIDI track in the session doesn't matter. You can have 8 
audio tracks waiting to record and, for example, if you press a note on a 
keyboard, the transport will start rolling. OK, good to know you figured out 
what the issue was.
