It’s worth trying a B to C cable. That’s odd though, considering the mixer is 
externally powered. A couple ideas here: unplug all USB devices, then try the 
mixer in each of the ports. If that works, start adding other devices. My other 
suggestion is getting a powered  Thunderbolt USB hub. StarTech is a good bet 
for reliable ones
