I just installed the latest protools on a Mac system with Catalina. For some reason I am unable to clear my selection or delete the audio I have selected. Does anybody have an idea of why I am unable to delete my selection I have made? I feel like a dummy and I’m not sure why it is not working. I am fairly familiar with ProTools and have been using it now for two years. I have installed my plug-ins and everything else, even setup my midi keyboard and have it running. But any music I create or audio files I import, I cannot delete the selection I have made on the track. Why is this? I hope someone can help me or make fun of me, ha ha. This is very frustrating. Another thing, all my edit options in the tool bar menu are dimmed and are not accessible to choose. I have tracks selected in the tracklist and I have loop playback engage so I can hear my selection. Again any help will be greatly appreciated.
