Hello to all the Mac users under Mojave! I’m still trying to get back the functionality of VOCR. VOCR was and is one of the most important tools for us during the last years. Especially when having to use the Toontrack Manager, KK firmware updater etc. Some of us do not have any issue regarding VOCR, some do and maybe others did not realized that there is something wrong.
Due to one of the last updates of Tesseract - included in VOCR - the kind of text output - when using the same —psm method - has changed. And so the further processing by the VOCR scripts fail in some cases. First I realized that mouse clicks - that worked before - do no longer. And in addition existing text on screen is missing after Tesseract’s recognition. If you think that VOCR is working as expected on your machine, please confirm the following: Are you running the latest version of Mojave, 10.14.5? Did you install VOCR before updating to Mojave? Did you ever update VOCR? Could you give an example where the mouse clicks performing during VOCR navigation are working? Could you further provide me with your version of Tesseract and your Mac model? To require the version of Tesseract just type the following in terminal: Tesseract —version Thanks for helping! / Martin -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
