Hi Ronald, There's no right or wrong answer. You can experiment to see what works best for you. The lower the buffer, the more immediate the playback and less latency for virtual instruments. You can try setting it to 32 or 64 and see if you get errors or not. If not, you can keep it on the low side. Typically, for tracking, you might want to use lower buffer settings to maintain that low latency but switch to a higher buffer setting when mixing so that your plug-ins have the memory they need.
