Ramy, What are you referring to by CMD 1 and CMD 2? To hear the end of your selection via shortcuts, make sure you have a value set for Pre and Post Roll and use Option plus right arrow. In the audition shortcuts, Option is for Pre-Roll and command is for Post-Roll, Left Arrow is for the beginning of the selection and Right arrow is for the end of the selection. So, to hear what leads up to the selection by Pre-Roll, press Option Left Arrow.
To move the insertion point to the end of your selection, press the up arrow.
