I've got an element 46 and love the unit. However, I do not have the remote control. Instead, I have had to use the iPhone app in order to adjust parameters, which works quite well, though not as efficient as I would like. The last time I tried it, the OSX app that installs with the product is completely inaccessible, at least to me. Keep in mind that I have only been using the MAC environment for a few months now, so there may be other work-arounds that I am not aware of. But for me, it's a no-go. HTH
